• Search queries within Advisorent

• Identity verification from Aadhaar eKYC partners
• Employment verification from HR/payroll partners

• Scheduling and coordinating property visits

3. Data Sharing

We share your data only in these specific situations:

3.1 Within Advisorent operations

Your data is accessible to Advisorent's internal operations team only for the purpose of managing your deal. Access is role-restricted — not everyone on our team sees everything.

3.2 KYC verification partners

Aadhaar and PAN verification is processed through UIDAI-authorised KYC partners. Your identity data is used only for verification — not retained by partners.

3.3 Agreement and legal partners

Rental agreement drafting may involve authorised legal document partners. Data shared is limited to what is required for the agreement only.

3.4 Legal requirements

We may disclose data if required by Indian law, court order, or government authority. We will notify you of such requests wherever legally permitted.

3.5 We NEVER

• Sell your data to brokers or third parties
• Share your contact details with property owners before deal room activation
• Use your data for third-party advertising
• Share your personal data with any external party for marketing

5. Data Retention

You can request deletion of any data that is not subject to legal retention requirements by contacting privacy@flatify.in.

6. Your Rights Under DPDP Act 2023

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, you have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
• Erasure: Request deletion of data (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Grievance: Raise a complaint with our Data Protection Officer (details below)
• Nominate: Nominate a person to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity

7. Data Security

• No storage of raw Aadhaar numbers post-verification

In the event of a data breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you within 72 hours of discovery, as required under DPDP Act 2023.

We will notify you of material changes to this policy via email or in-app notification at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of Advisorent after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
